Yowza this month flew!

I looked at the date when I last blogged and a whole month has gone by.

I have read some excellent books this month. I'm going to list them but if I miss one, y'all will let me know, won't you?

Soaring by Kristen Ashley - second in the Magdalene series and every bit as good as the first book, The Will.

Garden of Lies by Amanda Quick - always a good read.

Pre-Fix - A Ciel Halligan Short Story - another Linda Grimes laugh-a-lot book.

Soldiers of Fortune - the 6th in the Miss Fortune series - lovable adventures of the 3 women who have come to be known as Swamp Team 3.

Midsummer Tights Dream - 2nd in Louise Rennisons series about Talullah. I'm not usually a YA fan but Talullah is hysterical and I am going to read the 3rd book, The Taming of the Tights, very soon.

Thought I Knew You by Kate Moretti - not my usual fair but a really good intrigue / romance.

A Patchwork Planet by Anne Tyler - haven't read one of hers for years. This one did not disappoint.

The Talisman by Stephen King and Peter Straub - good story. Kind of long for my tastes but I would read it again.

And a book that was so good it deserves it's own blogpost (and hopefully I will write one soon), The Season of the Dragonflies by Sarah Creech. This is her first published novel and I can't wait for more!

Don't know if I've read all of those this month but they are all recent.

Next up for me - Lowcountry Boneyard by Susan M. Boyer. It's the third Liz Talbot mystery.  The first 2 were excellent.
